🎉 Featured Presenter at NATI 2025
📍 Omaha, NE | 🗓️ September 5–6

We’re honored to welcome back Jeck-Jenard G. Navarrete, J.D., Ph.D.—one of NATI’s founding members—to this year’s conference!
Dr. Navarrete is a federally certified court interpreter with over two decades of experience and national recognition in court interpretation and digital transcription. He served for 24 years as the staff interpreter for the Federal Public Defender in Nebraska and has taught Spanish, French, and ESL at various universities. A published author and active leader in NAJIT, he continues to shape the profession through his advisory roles and nationwide training efforts.

At this year’s conference, Dr. Navarrete will present: “Linguistic Tools for the Judicial Interpreter and Translator.”
This didactic session will explore the rich linguistic resources available in the source language, with a focus on practical application in legal settings. Drawing from the Código Penal Federal and the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines, the presentation will provide valuable insights and tools to enhance accuracy and depth in both interpretation and translation.

Be sure to catch it!
