NATI is thrilled to welcome back Ernest Niño-Murcia! A certified court interpreter from Des Moines, he’s interpreted for top public figures and presented at major organizations like NAJIT and the DOJ. He’s also a *Jeopardy!* champion known for buzzing in before an attorney to nail the word “codefendant.”
This year, Ernest will present Interpreter as Expert Witness: Ethical Considerations, a session on when interpreters may give expert opinions and the ethical issues that can arise, including scope of practice and conflicts of interest.
