Session schedules are provided above; they may be subject to changes. Attendees will choose which sessions they will be attending the day-of and sign-in to the website page to attend the virtual session. 

The Annual Conference will be held virtually over two full days. The Registration Deadline will be September 8th, 2021 11:59pm. After that date we will do our best but can't promise to be able to process late registrations. Please contact us at info@natihq.org if you need to change your conference registration.

Special Guest: Ms. Gloria M. Rivera
Gloria M. Rivera is a physician/surgeon from Peru who earned a Certificate of Translation and Interpreting from UCSD Extension and started her career as a freelancer. Currently, she is an English/Spanish translator and Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI), a Certified Healthcare Interpreter (CHI), CA Certified Court Interpreter (CCCI), conference interpreter and the recipient of the California’s Healthcare Interpreters Association’s Trainer of the Year award for 2018. Currently, she combines her medical knowledge, her experience as a translator and interpreter, and her continuous curiosity to create fun and interesting classes for Blue Urpi.

  • Dr. Karen Tkaczyk, Secretary of the American Translators Association and Past President of the Nevada Interpreters and Translators Association
  • Ernest Niño-Murcia, state and federally certified court interpreter, Past Secretary of the National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators
  • Professor Piet Koene, T&I professor at Northwestern College and instructor of conference interpretation at Glendon College of York University
  • Jeff Williams, CEO of Worldwide Tech Connections. WWTC is a premier integrator of communication and language technologies.

CEU CERTIFICATION We anticipate receiving certification approval from the State of Nebraska for Legal CEU's. Sessions with CEU approval will be shared in the near future and day-of the conference.

Do you or someone you know want to make a difference in NATI while developing your own knowledge and skills? Consider serving on the Board of Directors! Elections will be held after the conference. You can complete a  2021 Board Nomination Form for you or for someone you feel would be of benefit to the Association and its members, and who will also benefit from their service on the Board.  The Board Nomination Form is due by September 15th, 2021 and no later.
